Our B7 “Class Bugs” science project explores how living things inherit traits from their parents. Students created their own “offspring bugs” by combining characteristics from parent bugs and used observations to explain how young animals can be similar to, but not exactly the same as, their parents. Check out the slideshows above to see their creative designs and thinking in action
Our B8 “Mailbox STEM Project” invites students to design and build a functional mailbox inspired by plant structures and their functions. Through planning, building, and teamwork, students applied their understanding of how plants support and protect to create mailboxes that are sturdy, visible, and able to withstand environmental conditions.
