26/27 Panorama Student Surveys and Parent Declination Letter

Kāhala Elementary School students in grades 3-5 are eligible to participate in the 2026-27 Panorama Student Surveys. Students will be asked to respond to topics related to their classroom and school experiences. Individual student responses are confidential and will not be tracked. The surveys are voluntary, however your child's views are important to ensure a quality educational system. We ask for your assistance in encouraging your child to participate and to respond honestly to the survey questions.

Kāhala PTO is excited to announce our Spirit Cards Fundraiser running from Friday, October 16 through Wednesday, October 28!

What is a Spirit Card?
A Spirit Card is a reusable discount card with savings at 18 local participating vendors. Each card is valid until November 1, 2027—that’s more than a year of discounts! Simply present your card at the vendor to receive your deal.

How does it work?

• Each card costs $10 and $5 goes directly back to fund Kāhala's special classes and school-wide activities.

• Extra cards are available by emailing pto@kes.k12.hi.us.

• Please return unsold cards and cash/checks (payable to Kāhala PTO) to the office by October 28.

Prizes for Sellers

• Every student who sells at least 1 card will receive a prize.

• Prizes add up—for example, if you sell 15 cards, you’ll earn small prizes for all 15 sales. (Check out the prize banner by the cafeteria!)

• Top Seller Prizes (awarded Nov 2):

  • 1st Place: $200 Target gift card

  • 2nd Place: $100 Target gift card

  • 3rd Place: $75 Target gift card

  • Top-Selling Class: Teacher receives a $25 Target gift card

Great Gift Idea! Since Spirit Cards are the size of a credit card, they’re perfect to tuck into greeting cards, fruit baskets, or stockings—and with a 2027 expiration date, they make wonderful gifts with lasting value.

Mahalo for supporting our students and school programs! We can’t wait to see you enjoying the discounts at our participating vendors.
